The start of a new school year should be exciting and full of anticipation for all of the great things that will happen during the year. Unfortunately for 7 children who just lost their mom to gun violence, the start of this school year will be challenging. With 3 of them being school-age they will have to cope with mommy not coming home or taking them to school. We would like to at least try to give these children a chance to start off the year with everything they need to do their best to learn despite the pain. Along with school supplies we are collecting monetary donations to help with uniforms and other clothing for all of the children.
